What you wrote is beautiful and you have made my day better already. I am going to find peace, tranquility and balance in my life. Keep writing to help me get there. You need to compile your writings into a book!!! You would be helping so many people. You have incredible insight on how to live a fulfilled yet balanced life. There is no amount of money that I could pay a psychologist to get as much help that I am getting from reading your blog.
I love your balanced approach of finding inspiration in religious and philosophic texts, and in all the other wisdom the world has to offer. Happiness and serenity are where you find them, and that could be anywhere. : ) –A
Lisis, yours may not be the prettiest or wittiest blog I’ve read, but it’s certainly one of the most poignant and powerful.
Your writing is beautiful, your honesty – refreshing, your cause – noble, and your courageous spirit – inspiring.
You have the gift! Please continue to share it.
Thanks! I sure do appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment. It’s always nice to know I’m not the only one reading these posts!
Michael, I just visited your blog briefly and I LOVE what it is about. I’m looking forward to spending more time there, reading through your older posts.
Thanks for stopping by!
Wow!
My drive to inspire people have increased dramatically after reading your “life” post Lisis.
I truly believe life experience is one of the biggest if not the biggest factor in shaping our lives and perspectives. More importantly, being able to be flexible (“I don’t break; I bend and yield, like a willow in a storm.”) and respond effectively in each situation of life is key for balance.
I am looking forward to our ongoing collective desire to help others find wellness and balance in their life.
Lisis, bless you for your courage! I look forward to following your blog.
I found you from Michael’s “Love to Share” blog, which I got to from “Black and Married with Kids” (funny, since I’m white and single and childless, but great blog), from the Black Snob, which I probably found from Michelle Obama Watch…. LOL
Well, Hi Regina!
It’s so nice to have you here. I think it is so neat how you found my blog from a string of great sources. Funny how the world works!
I left you a comment on your blog today, too.
Thanks!
You have a lovely way with words, and I dare say that you *are* a writer, despite your thoughts to the contrary. When I read your words, I was moved, and that is the tell-tale mark of a true writer! Thank you for sharing your wisdom with the world.

[...] Lisis, for her courage and authenticity, and for being an ongoing inspiration. She was the first blogger to welcome me into the community, and happened to start blogging around the same time as me. Perhaps for these reasons, I consider Lisis the chief and founder of the Fellowship of the Blogs. [...]
