Fellowship Fridays: Simplicity

mich 225x300 Fellowship Fridays: SimplicityHappy Friday!!!

I hope that you have had a wonderful week. If it didn’t work out that way… no worries; next week will be better. I promise!

As you know, I am in Costa Rica right now, so I thought it would be appropriate to have Simplicity as our Fellowship Fridays theme today. Costa Rica is all about simplicity, nature, happiness, and well-being (my kind of place). When we simplify our lives, and minimize the chaos and useless tasks, we find we have more time and energy to enjoy life.

Here are 5 Great Posts from fellow bloggers to get you on your way to a simpler, happier life:

recipe 1 300x225 Recipe: Cupid Lasagna (Makes People Fall In Love)

Recently I wrote a post about my simple kitchen, in which I mentioned my mom’s famous lasagna recipe. I call it Cupid Lasagna because it makes people fall in Love. Sounds crazy, I know… but I’ve seen it happen!

I made this lasagna for Jeff when I met him. We got engaged six weeks later, and we’re going on ten years of marriage.  I have made it for a few of my “single and looking” friends, and they found beautiful lasting relationships.

Once I made this recipe for a married friend of mine, but I changed it to include all sorts of veggies, and that was a disaster. He fell in love, but not with his wife! He actually left her for another woman shortly after the lasagna incident. I haven’t messed with the recipe since.

“100% Natural, No Artificial Ingredients”

I wanted to let you know that today I am on my way to Costa Rica to spend a little time with family, reconnect with nature, and enjoy life… pure life! Can you tell I am excited about it? You should know I will be thinking of you while I am there, taking pictures, and planning stories for future posts.

Now, don’t panic. Assuming that all goes well, there should be a post here to greet you each morning while I am gone. I may be a little slower responding to comments though. C’est la vie.
