Hi Lisis,
Great list of posts! Knowing yourself leads to loving yourself and once that is achieved…inner peace and joy will come!
As you can see, I have been gardening!
Nadia – Happy Lotus’s latest post… No Good, No Bad
The other day, I wrote a post about getting to know yourself, and today I wrote about loving yourself. I think the two topics go hand in hand. It’s one thing to know yourself, but it’s quite another story to LOVE yourself. Thanks for sharing the links!
Positively Present’s latest post… the self-love song
You’re right, when I saw Nadia’s comment my first thought was, if you get to know yourself and DON’T like what you find, now would be a good time to make some changes so that you CAN love yourself.
Thank you (both of you) and have a great weekend!
Hi Lisis,
Lovely post and thanks for the nod. I really liked 20 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Every Sunday.
David Cain’s latest post… Raptitude Experiment No. 1 – Sharpening the Mind
Thanks for checking them out, David. Lots of good stuff out there in this blog community.
Hi Lisis – I found you through the 31DBBB. I very much enjoy your work here, and am really glad I found you! I think that knowing yourself is such simple, succinct advice – yet I wonder how many people really stop and think about that.
I feel very strongly that finding inner peace is a huge part of being able to spread good karma all around the world, what my own blog is about. I’m going to link you up on my blogroll because I think your work is fabulous and very relevant.
Have a great day and hope the challenge is working out well for you!

Hi, Rebeca!
I’m so glad you found me, too… now I can go visit YOUR blog! I am really enjoying the 31DBBB so far; Darren always manages to add great value to the world of bloggers. In fact, I may just have to send you an email today (’cause Darren said so!) Thanks for visiting me here, and I’m heading over to your site now…
“If you like who you are, no one else gets a vote. Right?”
EXACTLY!!! So many people (myself included) tend to forget this little fact of life. Your opinion of yourself is the ONLY opinion that matters! Thank you for such a great reminder, Lisis!
Jay Schryer’s latest post… 7 Things
Well, there’s one exception to that rule: I get a vote… and I like who you are.
So only the people who like us get a vote? ; )
Alison’s latest post… Fellowship Fridays: How To Find Inner Peace
No, Ali… only *I* get a vote. =-)
Thank you for the link love. I certainly agree with what you say in your post. I like your suggestion about tending to inner peace like I would a garden. Hopefully, it is a garden that always flourishes! It will be great to operate from a sea of calm, even if the outer world can get pretty crazy sometimes.

Hi, Evelyn! You’re welcome! Thanks for the great articles (on your blog)… keep those coming.
It’s kind of interesting that our natural tendency is to get all frazzled inside when the world gets crazy around us… even though it doesn’t do us any good to get stressed out. We can handle things better when we are calm. Maybe one of these days we’ll evolve away from stress and anxiety, in favor of calm, focused, rational thinking. Have a great weekend!
Hi Lisis! Thanks for this list, I see I’m going to have some quality reading tonight. Know Yourself is truly the best way to finding inner peace. Many seem to think it’s in achieving some external goal, or in simply choosing to be happy, but going inwards in one of the most rewarding things we can do!

Hi Lisis,
Finding inner peace is very important especially when we can all easily get caught up in our hectic daily living.
Vinny @ Yinnergy’s latest post… 5 Simple steps to be more A.W.A.R.E.!
Hi, guys! I definitely think turning inward to find ourselves, and inner peace, is the first step to achieving lasting happiness. I think most major spiritual traditions teach some version of, “BE STILL, and know that I am God,” or, “Know Thyself.”
When we stop the distractions all around us to be still, to calm our minds and our hearts, we find that what is in us is Love. The common denominator in everything is Love, so we can be at one with everything. Then, even if there is noise or chaos around us, it won’t affect our stillness… our inner peace.
