Yeah, I don't like self-promotion very much, so I tend do de-emphasize all the stuff that I have done. But when I was writing this post for Lisis, I couldn't help but think that some of the non-profit work I did should be included in my original "7 things" post. With all the negativity I've been dealing with lately, it felt good to remember some of the great stuff I've done. Now, I just have to reach even higher, to do even better stuff! Hi, everybody! I love feeling like I’m eavesdropping on my own blog! Jay, thank you so much for writing this beautiful post, the first guest post on my Spirit of Adventure series. I may have to smash a bottle of champagne against my monitor to celebrate.

Also, I just read your 7 MORE things you’ve done to make the world a better place. I am so impressed, not with your accomplishments (which are many and admirable) but with your selflessness and compassion. You are truly an inspiration to us all.
