Lisis, it seems magical because it IS magical! That's just the way I roll :) And you're right, my trip to the civic center to see the King Tut Exhibit was the PERFECT example of a mini-adventure! In fact, it had all the trappings of a storybook adventure. There was danger (the civic center is NOT in a good part of town!), drama (I got lost on my way there), a queen (or at least some of her artifacts), and lots of treasure (even though I could only look at it, and not take any of it home).
