Jay, I just love your outlook on life! I find it very inspiring. Like you, I've had a crazier than expected Memorial Day and haven't been as present in the blogosphere as I'd like today. I'm sure we'll get more time to catch up later this week.

Thanks to everyone who has visited and commented today. Happy Monday!!!

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't been responding to comments today like I should. Today has been...interesting to say the least. I just wanted to stop in again and tell everyone thanks for reading this, and I'm glad you all are enjoying it.

Lisis, it seems magical because it IS magical! That's just the way I roll :) And you're right, my trip to the civic center to see the King Tut Exhibit was the PERFECT example of a mini-adventure! In fact, it had all the trappings of a storybook adventure. There was danger (the civic center is NOT in a good part of town!), drama (I got lost on my way there), a queen (or at least some of her artifacts), and lots of treasure (even though I could only look at it, and not take any of it home). All in all, that was a good day :)

Hi Jay!

I love the phrase mini-adventure. That is how I feel whenever I go out of the house to do an errand or get together with a friend or whatever. I never what I will find or see which makes it so much more fun. The world is such a wonderful source of inspiration regardless of where you live on this beautiful planet. :)

This is a wonderful idea! I love the little unexpected things we find usually when we're not even looking. Mini-adventures are great and something I would love to do more of. Now that the weather is nicer walking places with the kids is an option I wonder where we'll go today? :) Thanks Jay!

well done! I couldn't agree more. I actually just wrote about a similar topic. Not mini- adventures, but how to see your world in a new way. We don't need to venture far or at all to get the most out of life. Amazing how a lot of us bloggers think a like at certain times.
